Application of the Abrikosov pseudofermion technique to a homogeneous spin system

The angular distributions of the α₀ and α₁ groups for the (n,α) reactions on¹¹B,¹⁴N,¹⁶O have been measured atE _n=14.1 MeV. In the¹¹B(n, α₀)⁸Li reaction the compound mechanism seems to be favoured as can be demonstrated with Hauser-Feshbach calculations. In the other reactions direct mechanisms dominate.     

Local radial Phragmén-Lindelöf estimates for plurisubharmonic functions on analytic varieties

We give a sufficient condition for a local radial Phragmén-Lindelöf principle on analytic varieties. This condition is expressed in terms of existence of hyperbolic directions.

Si₃F₈ can be synthesized in good yield by treating Si₃(OCH₃)₈ with BF₃ in a sealed tube. The Raman spectrum of Si₃F₈ is reported and assigned.
